The Flying Scotsman is at last here at Williton during September 2017.
I spent the morning with my video camera and I think I’ve got some good shots!
Allthough he went through without stopping, it was a sight to see, huffing and puffing, the day was a little overcast, but never the less quite good.
It may have been the only time I get to see this magnificent loco all in green!
Spent the morning at Williton Station, plenty of trains, not a lot of people, so that was good, could get around very easily.
The sun was out in its full glory, blue sky everywhere, made for a grand morning at the station.
Check out the video below.
Took a ride down to Babbacombe to look at the model village, quite a lot there and took a little video as I wandered around, the model village is massive and it would take you biggest part of the day to get round it all.
There’s lots of comic parts to the village which is well worth taking your time for!
Had a wander around the town and found a cafe and had some lunch, fish and chips, must say it was quite good and nicely priced.
Check out the video.
Had a look at Crowcombe Heathfield on Saturday 2nd April 2017, the weather was absolutely brilliant not a cloud in the sky and sunshine all day, took a video, which shows No 5199, a DMU and No 6960 Ravingham Hall in action.
With trains in and out all day long, and loads of cups of tea inbetween trains!
The station staff were very friendly, always willing to talk about the railway.
