Steam And Diesel At Crowcombe With a Man Cleaning His Loco

Had a look at Crowcombe Heathfield on Saturday 2nd April 2017, the weather was absolutely brilliant not a cloud in the sky and sunshine all day, took a video, which shows No 5199, a DMU and No 6960 Ravingham Hall in action. With trains in and out all day long, and loads of cups of tea inbetween trains!
The station staff were very friendly, always willing to talk about the railway. » Read more

Porlock Weir and Village

Went to Porlock Weir and Porlock Village on Monday 19th June 2017, not a lot happening at the Weir, but it was quite interesting never the less, loads of shops and pubs and cafe’s, sadly the tide was out, so not many boats in the harbour. A lovely day was had with the temperatures at about 28 degrees (starting to go a bit red!), called into Porlock village and had a spot of lunch at the Castle Hotel, and very nice too! If your in the area, its worth a visit 4 or 5 miles outside Minehead on the A39.
Check out the video and photos of my time there. » Read more
