How To Change Your Display On Your Monitor

What I would suggest is that you right click on an empty piece of screen and choose 'Resolution' from the context menu. Second box down in the Display setting page you will see 'Display resolution' which has a drop down arrow beside it.

Click on the arrow and choose the highest available resolution, this is normally the recommended value, select it. You will get a screen appear asking if you want to keep this new setting or revert.

Click 'Keep' and see what it looks like. You can always repeat the process to pick an other value.

For your information, most modern laptops are either 1366 x 768 or 1920 x 80 resolution, most desktop monitors are 1920 x 1080 or higher.
